In combination fibre glass tissue and fibre glass mat to fix large holes, rust spots and damaged spots in metal, wood, concrete etc. Well suitable in car sector, for mould and model making and other industrial areas. Applicable to e.g. leaky lines and pipes, boilers, boats etc. Multiple use even in the household.
The damaged spot should be derusted, clean, dry, fat free and slightly sanded. Cut the fibre glass clothaccording to the size of the damaged spot so that it overlaps sufficiently. Mix well the needed quantity of resin with the corresponding quantity of hardener and process in one operation as follows: paint the pretreated surface with resin and put on the fibreglass material cut to size. Press evenly with a paint brush starting at the edge and soak again with polyester resin. The fibreglass must not show any inclusions of air. As a last layer fibreglass tissue is to be put on and dabbed thus providing a surface suitable for subsequent coatings. A coating system consisting of several layers is possible. If the surface is to be coated, we recommend to apply presto plastic or presto flex fine filler for subsequent treatment. The polyester resin surface which remains tacky serves as optimal adhesion promoter. However, it can be washed off with nitro diluent on request. Clean the tools immediately after use, wash off with nitro diluent, if necessary. Do not pour mixed material back into the can.
